Miley Cyrus of Hannah Montana


Since the controversial photo shoot of Miley Cyrus above with a bed sheet, the news is that Disney is going to dump her. This may be true according to this news report. They, Disney is planning to replace her with a less well known actress named Selena Gomez (picture below).

Executives at the company that produces the Hannah Montana television show are eyeing less er-known Selena Gomez to step into the whole someness gap created by Miley Cyrus' photographic escapades with Vanity Fair's Annie Leibovitz, E! Online has reported.

The New York Post said that like Cyrus, Gomez is 15, has dark hair and innocent good looks.

"I'm told Disney executives are so worried about Cyrus' recent controversies that, more than ever, they want to make Gomez an even bigger star," wrote E! columnist Mark Malkin.

Amy Winehouse Assault Case

Surprisingly a man claimed he was assaulted by singer Amy Winehouse famous for the following songs hits such as "Rehab" and "You Know I'm No Good".



Police will further investigate the case.Well one thing, I am not feeling sorry for the assaulted victim and the real victim is Amy herself. Can this be a case of someone exploiting a situation involving a celebrity?

Singer Amy Winehouse is due to report at a London police station shortly to be questioned over an alleged assault.

The 24-year-old's spokesman said the star would speak to officers "voluntarily" about an alleged incident in north London on Wednesday.

Police have confirmed a 38-year-old man claimed he was assaulted by a woman aged 24 in the Chalk Farm area.

However, a Scotland Yard spokesman would not elaborate on who would be questioned during the police inquiry.
